This simple stone arch bridge crosses a tributary of Muchikinock Creek.
Carrying the Chichaqua Valley Trail, the bridge was originally built in approximately 1900 to carry the Chicago Great Western Railway.
Since being built, the bridge has received little alterations. The only notable alteration is the grouting of the stones, likely done around the time the bridge was reused for trail use.
Overall, the bridge remains in fair condition. It is unknown where the CGW quarried stone from, but it appears that most CGW arches were built of limestone, which deteriorates with time and exposure to water.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design of the bridge and small span length.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be accessed from 62nd Avenue.
